Skyline’s Teen Broadway Company offers a fully produced Musical Theatre experience designed for young performers. This Company is led by experienced instructors, providing professional training in acting, singing, and dancing. Students explore diverse roles, musical styles, and theatrical genres, refining their performance skills to a professional level. This process includes the step-by-step experience of auditioning, being cast in a show, weekly rehearsals, and finally, performing for a live audience. Beyond the spotlight, students emerge not only as skilled performers but also as confident individuals ready to face the challenges of the world beyond the stage. Urinetown the Musical paints a darkly comedic picture of a future where a severe water shortage has led to a corporate monopoly on public amenities—you literally have to pay to pee! When the downtrodden citizens can no longer afford to relieve themselves, a hero rises to challenge the corrupt political system, sparking a hilarious and surprisingly thoughtful revolution. It's a sharp satire that pokes fun at capitalism, bureaucracy, and even musical theater itself, making for a truly unique and entertaining experience!
